It was a nice surprise to find this on my deviantWatch.

Was this for Zillo mgazine? He is looking sad here and on the cover of that magazine... But how is it like for you to photograph someone who you know has been photographed five million times before and so there's not many new things that can be done? Do you have guidelines from the magazine? or do you come up with something yourself? I always wondered how a photographer feels in this situation...

it was not for zillo - the zillo pics were taken by another photographer. not guidelines from the mag - and no special things from my mind before. i had some - but that would be possible cause the situation was another. and so you have to work with the things you get... and i think that was great - cause not so many people can say:

"i was in bed with ville valo" ;)
